Why is a great martial artist not always a great instructor?

“After decades in martial arts, I’ve learned that being a great martial artist and being a great instructor are two different things. My goal is to help instructors become better teachers, better leaders, and better mentors for their students.”

Professor Manny owns Galvan’s Martial Arts, where he is Head Master, and directs its Gracie Humaitá Jiu-Jitsu program. Over the years he has developed instructors and built competitive programs.

Help for school owners

Professor Manny also helps martial arts schools build strong teaching systems, curriculum, programs and leadership teams.
