Professor Manny has taught workshops for law enforcement agencies, including a knife self-defense class for female officers from across Texas and Mexico. Workshops focus on practical self-defense first.

Law enforcement
Knife self-defense for female law enforcement officers
At the 4th Annual Women’s Inclusion Conference on South Padre Island, hosted by the Brownsville Police Department with the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce and the South Padre Island Police Department, Professor Manny taught a knife self-defense class: techniques against a knife attack. Female officers came from across Texas and from Tamaulipas, Mexico.

What do people learn in a workshop?
Practical self-defense comes first. Beyond technique, Professor Manny teaches discipline, confidence, leadership, perseverance, responsibility, respect, and the mindset required to continually improve.
Firearms safety training
Professor Manny is an NRA instructor in Basic Pistol, Personal Protection Inside the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, Basic Rifle and Texas License to Carry. Firearms classes are taught through The Firearms Academy.
How long is a workshop, and what does it cost?
Workshops are 3 hours long. He works with groups of any size; the largest so far was close to 90 people. Pricing depends on your event, so contact Professor Manny and he will send pricing for what you have planned.
